At S&W Auto Service Center, we separate Auto Body Repair work from Collision Repair since the service processes are different.  While Collision Repair typically involves a third party, such as an insurance company or the involved responsible party, such is often not the case with Auto Body repairs.  There are needs like re-painting the hood and/or front fenders due to stone chips and/or winter weather damage.  Sometimes rust begins to form on the rocker panels or bottoms of doors that need to be attended to.  In cases like these, the vehicle owner just pays for the repairs 'out of pocket' so as to keep his car looking good, and to preserve its structural integrity and value of the vehicle.
